Marx Clang Clang Locomotive, with Original Box, nice shape!

Description

We have here a Marx "Clang Clang Locomotive".  This is a battery powered train toy made by Marx in Hong Kong, and it carries the item #HK-3970.  There are many versions of this toy out there, with varying features.  THIS one has Bell Noise, and Lighted Pistons, according to the box.  You can see the bulbs in the pistons, so I know that is true, and the battery box is quite clean (shown in one of the photos) but I don't have three of the D cell batteries here to test this unit.  This toy is in fantastic cosmetic shape, and the box is in decent shape too (there is some crayon scribbling on the INSIDE of the box bottom, which I try to show in one of the photos), BUT the separate red plastic cowcatcher is missing.  Still, a nice boxed example, and they used that same red plastic cowcatcher on MANY of these toys, so that is findable, too.  Photos from all 6 sides, with a penny in the shots for size reference.  Priced to sell, with only actual shipping cost charged!
