    I have for sale a Marx O-gauge model 241708 Baltimore & Ohio gondola car in Very Good condition. The car has 2 axles with steel wheels and tab & slot couplers. This car might also be identified as a model 552, as are other Marx 6" gondolas. The litho on this car is very bright and crisp, the wheels and axles are clean and defect-free. The car measures 6" long x 1.75" wide and is actually 3/16" scale, same as American Flyer S-gauge.
    In fact, these Marx O-gauge 6" cars
    are very nice
    for conversion to S-gauge. See my pic #7 for a model 241708 gondola  car converted to S-gauge, not a part of this deal. Conversion involves adding a 1/4" plywood deck to an AF model 630 die-cast caboose chassis and then mounting the gondola body on that deck. Can't use the original chassis as the floor of the gondola would not look good. I have done a number of these 6" cars.
