    Description

    This quilted wall hanging is stunning and even more beautiful in real life.  It measures 26 1/2" square, and has the rod pocket flap sewn in on the back.  If you look closely, you will see some forest friends hiding in this beautiful garden! It is signed "Patricia Helmcamp, Miami Florida, 1996" on the back (see second to last photo).  Patricia Helmcamp is well known in the Quilting Guild of Miami and for her philanthropy to causes that benefit women and children.  The colors and pattern resemble a rich watercolor painting, and the shading and placement of the squares add such elegance to the piece.  Look at the beautiful border and the intricate work of all these small squares within the piece.  The quilting is masterful!
