    Description

    These were hand made by David O King in Brooklyn NY in the early 60s. He went around looking for scrap metal and made Trolley cars, engines and freight cars. Not many were made since his business was in the basement of his home. But there are train enthusiast who are collecting his work. These cars are 13" x 3" and a bit heavier then the average  O scale box cars. The graphics are old vintage and look it. I mean who remembers a can of PLUTO milk? One side of the Phenix car is missing graphic on one side. I was going to restore that section but I just have too many projects All u have to do is put on the trucks and they are ready for your layout or display them. I would recommend the trucks type you see in the photo. I like the history and the old advertisement. I recently read that the O KING trains are just getting to be popular and collectable. Five freights most have the break wheel and ladders. The hatches on top are very realistic. I just sold a David O King working trolley car and it went the same week. I will ship with insurance.
